MacSight™ for ISV

With MacSight, developers and marketers of Macintosh® software will have an unprecedented view of how people use their Mac®.* 

MacSight enables feature-level analytics of how customers use your and your competitors’ software, as well as collecting data on their machine configuration.  These findings will contribute to more efficient development and testing, improved customer satisfaction, and targeted marketing.

The MacSight™ Process:  
 
1. First, a group of our experienced analysts meet with you to identify your needs.  

2. Based on your needs, we customize our MacSight technology to yield targeted information.

4. Next we integrate the data collected by MacSight with research and site visits made by our experienced analysts. We can also segment the data by demographic information gathered from our customized MacSight survey.  

5. The data is produced in reports which are stored in a portal hosted by ClickStream. The portal is accessible 24/7 by clients who have been provided a user name and password.

6. Optionally, our team of experienced analysts will provide suggestions for growth, marketing strategy, and the elimination of inefficiencies in the development process.  

How It Works:  

In a typical study, hundreds of participants agree to download MacSight onto their computers after completing a survey to determine if their computer behavior fits within the scope of our client’s study. After installation, MacSight reports information that allows ClickStream Technologies to survey the use of all installed applications. We usually ask participants to leave MacSight installed for 30 or more days. 

From the reports, clients gain information about use of their application, their competitors’ applications, and installed but unused elements of all applications. In the ClickStream Technologies portal, clients can sort the data by application, features, date range, and more. The data can also be segmented using the demographic information collected in the qualifying MacSight survey. 

MacSight is a highly customizable and versatile technology, for which no direct competitors exist.
